Jacob's Ladder

Construction worker about to descend a ladder at 1 Manhattan West, the first of two skyscrapers being built by Brookfield Properties over the Hudson Yards rail bed. The building features a giant pedestal at it’s base and the entire superstructure will be suspended by a platform of 16 hollow concrete bridge span supports being built over the New Jersey Transit and Amtrak train tracks.
